Microwave Doppler Radar Motion Sensor Module HB100

Microwave Doppler Radar Motion Sensor Module HB100 is a X-Band Bi-Static Doppler transceiver module. Its built-in Dielectric Resonator Oscillator (DRO) and apair of Micro strip patch antenna array, make it ideal for OEM usage in motion detection equipment. This module is ideally suitable for false alarms reduction in intruder detectors when work together with Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor. It can also be used for auto-door opening and vehicle speed measurement.

This module is ideal for alarms, motion detectors, lighting control, vehicle speed measurement, and automatic doors.

Note: Please use a low voltage soldering iron and connect it to a reliable grounding. This device is sensitive to ESD and it may be damaged during soldering. The IF output of the HB100 module is especially sensitive. You can check it for damage using a multimeter in diode mode. The forward voltage drop between IF and GND should be about 0.25 V.
